About Us
Orissa Sangeet Natak Akademi is the State Akademi of Music, Dance and Drama. This apex body was founded in 1957 for multifaceted promotion of various genres of performing arts of Orissa. Registered as a society during 1971-72, it is an autonomous Body, coordinating the activities of numerous voluntary organisations espousing the cause of performing arts and interacting with National Sangeet Natak Akademi, Zonal Cultural Centre and apex bodies of other States.
